• EVISTA 60 mg film tablet contains 60 mg raloxifene hydrochloride.

• Gallbladder stone

Uncommon side effects (1 to 10 per 1000 patients):

• Increased risk of blood clot formation in the legs (deep vein thrombosis)

• Increased risk of blood clot formation in the lungs (pulmonary embolism)

• Increased risk of blood clot formation in eyes (retinal vein thrombosis)

• Pain and redness of the skin around the vein (superficial vein thrombophlebitis)

Rare side effects (less than 1 in 10,000 patients):

• Rash

• Digestive disorders such as nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain and stomach ailments

• Increase in blood pressure

• Decrease in the number of blood clotting cells (Platelets)

• Blood clot formation in an artery (eg paralysis)

• Migraine and other headaches

• Symptoms such as pain in the breast, growth, tenderness

In some rare cases, an increase in liver enzymes may be seen during EVISTA use.
